I love an outback storm.  It’s a recurring theme in my artworks. The big sky that I see everyday often displays wonderful cloudscapes. There is never ending subject matter that is always awe inspiring and beautiful.  Storm clouds create an atmosphere of excitement, as I live in an area that is classified as an arid zone.  Most of Australia is dry and arid.  The hope of rain always brings joy and excitement. Your senses are all stimulated as you see it, as you smell it and as you hear the rolling thunder. There’s excitement and anticipation in the air. It’s a classic picture that I will never tire of painting.
