Description
Living amonst the Gidgee during my first 10 years in Bourke, I was always intrigued by their shapes and forms. My teenage daughters and their friends often camped and enjoyed “Girls Nights” in the Gidgee, so after experimenting with the shapes and forms of both the girls and the Gidgees, “Gidgee Sisters” had been created. Gidgee is a type of wattle that grows west of the Darling River and through Western Queensland.
